For some reason, I have warning bells ringing. He may seem nice now, but he is STILL complicit to Lor's involuntary participation to these trials. I don't easily forgive and forget. 😩

I don't know why she lets these heffas get to her. She's tough. She's gone through way worse. And, yes, I know. It's not fair to criticize her for one weak moment. BUT! What happened to the tough-as-nails woman who broke Jude's wrist?! Come on, Lor! 🫂

Not going to lie, I find this book a bit too slow for me. I'm about 34% in, and nothing really significant has happened since Lor was kidnapped and brought to Aphelion.

He's crass, but I like Callias. Waaaaaaaaay more than Gabriel, that's for sure!!!

Ah... so that's why she was imprisoned and why she was kidnapped and taken to Aphelion...
