I think this book is great but some of this dialogue just falls really flat. The line "'Sup fucker" to Dracula took me out of it

I had to pause briefly just to say most beautiful sex scene ever written (ruined by one of the corniest lines of dialogue) AND THEN FOLLOWED BY AN INSANE TWIST I DID NOT SEE THIS COMING EVEN REMOTELY THIS IS HOW YOU WRITE A VAMPIRE TWIST HOLY SHIT

I like the way this is told on three different timelines also Lucy is so descriptive
