Oh so Mr Weston is like Father Jud, trying to connect and support his church congregation by actually listening to Nancy and offering her spiritual guidance, not a spiritual telling off like Mr Hatfield did. Mr Hatfield who loved the pomp and show of his job title and only spoke about his own power in the church, and of course how the poor must stay holy in their obedience to the rich…hmm sounds familiar
