was just reading thinking yknow what? this IS good, and then in clicking to make this update post got spoiled by a recent review that it's potentially got a nasty transphobic twist in the final hour. that's crazy.

so i picked this up as a complete blind read at my local library, noting only the author's name and the first three sentences. now i'm afraid i may be reading my first ever romance. this being said, it is just gritty and questionably between delusion or possible paranormal aspects that i set aside my fears and saunter on. prose varies from kinda awesome to corny boots
