I am really enjoying this book but honestly I’m kinda surprised with a concept this over the top and fun that they’re not leaning more into like the humor and absurdity of it? I wouldn’t expect them to play the life or death love island concept so straight. Not that I dislike it but seems like a missed opportunity to really get wacky with it

Honestly I don’t know how tf this shows stays on air. Like not for all the ethical violations but like this genuinely sounds like an unfathomably boring show to watch, even with all the psychological torment and shit. Like… they just let the winner live at the compound for as long as they want?? They’ll air months of the winner just like… chilling with the place to themselves? Who’s watching this show?
