Well... It took me most of the first chapter to figure out that the first person voice I was reading was female and not male as I had assumed. Granted I have no concept of what this book is supposed to be about since I haven't actually heard any details or even read the blurb. Actually.. It's just dawned on me that people who liked Twilight told me to read this because it's better than Twilight. Suddenly I'm worried.

Is it just me or does the luxury and food that the Hunger Games contestants get to take part in seem totally worth dying a painfully gruesome and public death?

Gwen Morgan See, I was curious about this book, but now that you say Twilight fans like it, I'm thinking... no, not interested.

Nadine Rose Larter Well... It's not Twlighty... If that helps at all. The thing is it's not really my kind of book either. People are always so dead sure I'm going to love YA. But...if it's not Lemony Snickett or Harry Potter you can be 99% sure I'm probably going to hate it...

Don Martinez When they say it's better than "Twilight," that's a good thing. Trust me. IMO, the characters are much less vapid and more thought-out, and the relationships are much realer than "I love you because your blood smells delicious."

Nadine Rose Larter Lol @ "I love you because your blood smells delicious"...
