What are you reading? I am still reeling from Reflections in a Golden Eye by Carson McCullers. HOW it was made into a film is beyond me. So dark and inward-looking and brilliant and queer.

Carson McCullers is such a powerful writer. Reflections in a Golden Eye hugely affected me. I’m on lighter stuff now, The Librarianist by Patrick DeWitt. Moving and great celebration of humanity and of books
