Tesla went broke because he signed away the rights to royalties on every horsepower of electricity sold using his alternating current patents. He couldve been a billionaire but now he doesnt have enough money to finish his tower that he said will send power and radio signals wirelessly all over the world. Jp morgan gave him 150,000 but he ran out of money and the tower ended up getting blown up before being finished
