Elvina remind me of mother Gothel in rapunzel. I mean she’s not telling her everything and I have the impression she’s not "nice ". She’s hiding the true with lies. Anyway their relationship is a bit similar to it since clarion begins to "rebel " by wanting to explore her realm.
