I'm taking a break from this one for a bit. I love the writing; the story flows smoothly, and the world-building is interesting. Although I knew this was a sort of Moby Dick retelling, I thought I could do it as it's sci-fi and by an author I adore. The first hunt was hard for me to read, though. I'm thinking this book may not be for me, but I'm going to think on it before I DNF for good.
