A rose-shaped scar.
The same scar carved on to all of the Taken.

The dog spoke slowly, as though I was a fool. “I already told you — one of the Elders sent me. I need to find your brother. I thought you might lead me to him.” Her brother? What for? And are these Elders the enemies of the foxes who kidnapped Isla’s family?
