The authors present them selves as academics yet shy away from fact because it “might offend”? Ooof History, or in this case, folklore, is being edited out and/or rewritten because cultural sensibilities have evolved. Knowledge is knowledge. I wish contemporary writers would stop treating readers with kid gloves.
