Tan is the victim or believing his own hype nas king of "making up a guy"

Tan has asserted that he is the most famous South Asian person in the world. Let's give him grace and say he meant the West. There has to be someone more famous than him name one quickly

Loving the implication that Tan thinks Aztecs are from India. Like I know he doesn't think that but his editor let this one slip because it really reads that way

I don't think Tan has lived long enough to write an autobiography. Still enjoying it though. 2 things can be true

Ive been cleaning out my closet so I have to pretend to hear Tan's voice in my head. Then I said I wonder if he wrote a book and here we are. So far so good. Also I've been struggling with reading lately so this is a good one to ease me back into it
