I’m not a huge fan of split narratives, because I feel like hopping between two different stories just ends up killing the pacing for both. I’m so impatient to read about Georgianna that I don’t care about the Brighton parts - until I’ve read so many chapters, then I’m invested and we switch back to the Georgianna plot and I’m annoyed again

I’m never a huge fan of Austen retellings where the cool fun twist is that Lizzie Bennet is a bad person, but I do like this take on Lydia so far
