Random but at the NIH we literally had a scientist visiting from Stanford come in and display results from an IRL human study conducted on college students that found that, over the course of three years, young women on birth control had SIGNIFICANTLY higher cortisol and were more likely to develop and/or report neuropsychiatric symptoms 😬 idk if that’s the narrative that this book is delineating but it was SOBERING to hear this information from a certified scientist!!
