Truly the best book I’ve read in era 2 so far by a mile. It’s shaping up to be my favorite Mistborn book, period. How people could say the stakes are lower in this story is nuts. To me, the stakes have never felt higher. Also, that hotel scene is one of the most hilarious things I have ever read.

The last book kind of felt like the beginning dragged a little bit, this one has no such problem. Very Indiana Jones style so far. Love it. Every character is hitting new peaks in my mind. Brandon Sanderson hitting a flow state. My only concern is, what will he do with Marasi now?

This magic system is by the far the most comprehensive and gripping constructs I’ve ever come across in literature. Strict rules, almost scientific in nature, yet new discoveries are always being made. Brandon Sanderson is a gem. (I will never forgive him for how book 5 ended.😭)
