Quinn bites his lip, eyes bright. “Got it.”
“Good.” I press a big kiss to the camera. “Bye, babe.”
His whole face softens, and he whispers, “Miss you.”
Fuck. I’ve never spoken words I mean more when I answer, “Miss you too.”

But now, being introduced to his friend, him hanging out with Aleks and Bilson, the constant sleepovers when we’re not on the road, and just how easy it is between us when we are together, it’s easy to see how he feels about me. I can sense it, like if I were to reach out, I could touch it.

The more I’m with him, the more I see how much he’s into me. At first, I think the doubt was coming from the fact Vance hadn’t shown any interest at all until he knew I was into him, which, as everyone has pointed out, was fucking obvious.

All of my interest evaporates when he knocks on my door and the first thing he says is “Grab your running shoes.”
“Decline.”

I love seeing this side of Vance, but it does make me think. “Can I ask you something?”
“If it’s why we’re not sleeping together yet, I’m going to go with no. You can’t ask me.”
“It’s not exactly that, but I’m curious. Before, you know, when our roles weren’t doing this Freaky Friday thing where you’re the bumbling idiot, and I somehow have game—”
“What is your point?”

“I was watching you out there. You weren’t skating like you normally do.”
“You, uh …” His lips twitch. “Watch? Me?”
“It’s my job.”
“Oh, yeah, totally, that’s obviously what I mean.”
How the hell does this guy get through press conferences?
