I’m enjoying the book, but it’s a typical Dan Brown book: trying to prove how smart he is but at times coming across as a load of crap. I feel like Brown walked so R.F. Kuang could run, at least in that regards. Browns stories are much better.

You’re flying through it! It’s definitely nice to not have to pay attention to world-building in this. A good change of pace. Just let all the absurd shit happen and be entertained!
