I’m currently on page 354 of On the Come Up by Angie Thomas and I’m honestly so caught up in Bri’s world that it feels like the book has its own rhythm—almost like a heartbeat that keeps getting louder the deeper I go.
Watching Bri navigate her dreams, her anger, and the weight of expectations has been such an intense experience. There’s something so raw about her voice.
