The annotations in this book are hilarious (and remind me of Good omens, or was this book first?). "The other kids at school nicknamed him lx, which in the language of Betelgeuse Five translates as 'boy who is not able satisfactorily to explain what a Hrung is, nor why it should choose to collapse on Betelgeuse Seven.""
Must be a heavy burden to get at school.

So in the Beeblebrox’s reception committee are several members to greet him on the isle of France, amongst them is a Hooloovoo. A Hooloovoo is a super intelligent shade of the colour blue.
Are there other several super intelligent colours? Do they vary in intelligence score from latest to darkest? And which one is the dumbest colour? Or might there be some shades of all kinds of colours that are like the dumbest?

Ford Perfect is very very persuasive. To let someone voluntarily lie down in the mud when that person was on the opposite side of the argument is impressive.
What would you do with that much persuasiveness?

Karlijn "As it closed up lots of paper hats and party balloons fell out of it and drifted off through the universe. A team of seven three-foot-high market analysts fell out of it and died, partly of asphyxiation, partly of surprise. Two hundred and thirty-nine thousand lightly fried eggs fell out of it too, materializing in a large wobbly heap on the famine-struck land of Poghril in the Pansel system. The whole Poghril tribe had died out from famine except for one last man who died of cholesterol poisoning some weeks later." Douglas, was this piece of writing a stroke of genius or... Just a stroke?
