THE MIST: excellent. i’m a Stephen King newbie but i knew about most of his tropes from seeing movie adaptations so it was fun to see them here. i’ve heard the movie has a different (and famously bleak) ending, so i’ll be watching that. i really enjoyed this story, the realistic dialogue, perfect metaphors, disgusting descriptions, the suspense/horror, the psychological journey of the MC.

i bought this just to read THE JAUNT, which was terrifying as promised. anxiety horror at its finest. now restarting… will review each story as i read!
