Elizabeth's veil of old lace blew in billows about her figure, making her seem unsubstantial and ethereal; she might have been one of the smaller clouds which had lost its way and been lost in the human procession.

Julie G It's my first time around. It's Megan who has done this to me. She could sympathize with my "leaving Cornwall" depression! I've never watched it, and I know nothing about it, other than I've seen that man's face, on the cover of the series, over and over again, through the years!

Diane Barnes Welcome to the journey Julie! I read all 12 of them without getting tired.

Julie G Wow! Are there really 12 of them?? How much time elapses?

Julie G I'm afraid that your comment is lost on me, Jennifer. Are you a fan of Poldark?

Diane Barnes Julie, it took a year because I just read one each month.

Julie G Ha! I'm impressed.

Lori Keeton This makes me soooo happy!!

Heidi (reading to avoid current events) I made the mistake of watching about half the PBS series… I’m sure the books are better but that I bland the actor playing Ross… too swoon-worthy to stop… 😉
