maybe it’s because i just finished an amazing mm romance series right before this, but this book just isn’t sitting right. i keep turning the words over and around and upside down because it’s, well, boring, and my brain doesn’t want to retain the information i’m reading. i don’t wanna dnf because this seems like a great series. i’ll let it marinate a bit
