Two particular chapters made me pause and think how in the world did this get published? Specifically, the appendix burst story with zero context gave me pause. Also, “only consuming great works of art” to cultivate higher taste made me audibly say yikes. Both exerts scream privileged man who does not challenge his bias often. However, there’s been a few cool tidbits/ideas.
