Her openness and views are her personal values that are in direct conflict with others views and morals not because she is more open and superior as her inflexibility is a view and makes her not open. She’s just so well written as someone just starting to blossom into adulthood.

I love the complexity of the main character as well as her growth. She’s bold and has a great self esteem for her age.
