So Celaena thinks that Aelin is different than she is and that’s why she doesn’t want her crown.

I personally think they’ll be different parts of her, but still her.

Part one of this book has wrecked me.

Completely and utterly wrecked me.

Honestly, I love how Maas has incorporated the fear of herself in the Celaena/Aelin. It’s valid for her character at this point in time and the fact that she knows she’s volatile and reckless with her magic makes me love her more.

First of all…Manon, so blood thirsty. I love it.

Second, I love how Rowan doesn’t take any of Celaena/Aelin’s attitude and puts her in her place. I like how he knows what she is capable of and pushes her towards it. Even if he’s been ordered to.

So much more lore in this book.

And I love it.

Who is this man Rowan and why does he sound so hot? Like…And Manon? She sounds like a baddie.
