Teaching this for the first time is hard, as there’s so much we could use to analyze and it is hard to decide what avenues to explore. I’m already excited to teach this again to excitedly comb over the parts of the writing that are beautiful. Ophelia’s tragic death and the descriptive passage about it are moving. Can’t wait to add visual analysis here with famous art of her death.
