sades philosophy is rlly interesting and i’m not actually inclined to disagree with it??? but he doesn’t rlly consider the world that we live in. sure humans might be free if they’re allowed to commit any vices they desire but we live in a time when few people can easily monopolise the entire world?? we’d have to live v primitively for that emancipation - also js bc it’s true doesn’t make it right
