The end of chapter 12 taught us about the positive and negative affects of trade and globalization and what us as Americans can do to improve the situation globally. There was a lot of surprises with what the author suggested on how to do that which I enjoyed.

In economics class we are now looking at factors at which affect our economy and human capital capabilities which is interesting on how many things can make or break the economy.

Finished chapter 4 about the economy, learned about how the government is involved and shouldn't be involved in the economy.

We started reading chapter 4 in class last week and we're starting to read more on the government's role in the economy.

I think this book is actually pretty cool. Coming into Civics class I was not look forward to this book, but it has some great commentary on america's economy, some funny examples, and its really easy to understand if you put your mind to it.
