I just don’t like drystan and anon. Nothing gave me yearning. They’re both boring. And he’s hardly morally grey. He lacks any kind of depth and personality. Bored out od my mind. I assume if I was more invested I would have been upset at the collector dying. But even that was over too fast. This book is so dull to me??

So drystan explained his sad life story. But also in 2 sentences. And not enough for me to feel remotely sorry or invested. I’m just like so disappointed by this book

Literally nothing in this book is well written 😂😭 min was spying on her and they spoke about it for all of 2 sentences and like suddenly it’s a problem and she’s all like idk if we can start over and trust each other. But I’m committed and I will finish this book

Okay so we’ve added trials into the book. It’s more interesting now. But I still don’t like the main character or care much for the king and I feel like 150 pages in I probably should …

A bit bored of this book tbh. She’s not really that interesting and I’ve decided I don’t like first person narrations

Not obsessed. She’s not the most unique story so far. It’s kinda giving ACOTAR at the moment. Poor girl gets taken away by wealthy royal fae to live with him and she gets a makeover as soon as she arrives. But hopefully it’ll get more interesting soon
