I wonder why Erch would go to such lengths to find out why the dog almost ran away; if it even ran away. I feel a sense of great responsibility for Erch and determination to make sure those puppies grow up well.

The book is really getting more and more interesting. The characters are starting to unravel and show their traits, also the story is getting deeper. The story takes a slight boost in reading now the Erch the main character goes out on an adventure.
