Currently 3.5/5, I can see that there are some fascinating themes so far about gender and control through a neurodivergent lens. I do also get the unshakable vibes of "teenage boy who was just allowed to say cuss words by his mom and has taken it a touch too far" from the autbor, but considering this is the author's first foray outside of YA, I feel like that's to be expected.
