I really love the writing! Very clever and witty! I love the tortured childhood. It’s so sweet and allows you to forgive Dain everything. There are moments I’m not sure about Jess’ character but I do love her emotional strength, discipline & grounding. Such a cute emotional dichotomy between the two. A perfect match for Dain. Exactly what he needs. The plot is good for the most part. Only a few head scratches.
