Whilst reading chapter 3, I was finding ways to relate his critiques to the current state and historical conditions of the philippines. Still a puppet of the US, the philippines suffers the markers listed by Fanon. The national bourgeois serving the foreign bourgeois, the hoarding of national wealth, the stagnation in the productive forces and a dynastic political system that serves its continuation.

Reading this, I often found myself relating it to the current situations happening all around the world, and how relevant the struggle for the liberation of the oppressed peoples is still very much important. Fanon raises the question of violence, and its importance in the goal of liberation.

The preface by Satre is so provoking god damn. The way it's structured the way it speaks to the reader *chefs kiss*. I can already tell this one is a banger. Coming from Fanons other work it's already a given.
