the section on the civil war is so good :D

I don't know if I'm totally down with this book's place in theory yet (it could really do with talking about Brenner Debate stuff with all the claims it's making) but it still is genuinely incredible. The kind of book I wish I was able to write. There should be 100 more books like this.
