Oof. The English translation feels quite stiff (doesn't help that there's a lot of NS-terminology kept in German) but overall this Denglish feels tryhard. Also holy crap, but please, these tangents every single time Max meets someone. I don't even know how we ended up in some of these thoughts just after a few pages... It is so so random.
If it wasn't for the in-between moments and the prwmise, it would be a DNF.

The MC doesn't want to justify his deeds, nor doesn't feel obliged to do so, repeats this a couple of times within the first 20p and then proceeds justifying them. Interesting...
Some of his views bother me already (women) and I wish some of the people he's crossing paths with would be a bit more fleshed out. So far they just remain names and ranks. Hmm.
