So it ended in a way I didn’t expect, that was pretty interesting, but I still think overall it was not a great book. Definitely not the best book I’ve read about figure skating! ⛸️

This book is not very good. It is so much narrative, even about the skating!!! There are four main skaters (“The Orphans”) who all have parents and no personality; they all sound the same. Also, why is the “before” Ana in third person but the “now” Ana is in first? It makes no sense.

The writing isn’t great, but I like the subject material. And it’s short (less than 300 pages) and I am listening to it on Audible, so I should get through it quickly.
