it's funny how people will dismiss the facistic artistic influence in some designs/fashion because they fear it looks like they endorse that themselves. u can enjoy things w/ nuance while acknowledging their problematic origins imo. like u can enjoy Tom of Finland (main example) & acknowledge that it participates in copaganda/facistic aesthetics w/o it ruining the art for u...idk. decide for urself if ur okay w it!

idk how I'm feeling about this chapter lol "the destruction of the mother/daughter dynamic" and the lauding of agoraphobic feminist thinkers whose commentary mostly serves to dismantle structures in a way that seems destructive instead of constructive or valuable imo...but might need to re-listen to the last several paragraphs
