It was a sweeter human moment showing how Francisco (and Rearden and Kellogg) responded to thinking Dagny was dead and finding out she wasn’t

“It was you [Galt] who started this strike?” she asked.

No fucking shit, Dagny, get with the program. He literally walked out of his job saying, ‘I refuse to work under these conditions.’ You don’t deserve to sleep with him if you ask dumb questions like that

Backtracking for two thoughts
1) These people are insufferable. “We exist only for ourselves and owe others nothing,” “taxation is theft,” “we’re the victims here,” blah blah blah

Soooo is it just okay that all the passengers die because they hold contrary beliefs?

I recognize the whole section is showing how a catastrophe isn’t just random chance but many explicit decisions to evade personal blame, but this a harsh way to illustrate that an uninformed public is also at fault
