I just read the first Chapter of the Bible. I don't fully understand the text yet, but I think it's relatively interesting. One verse stuck out to me and that was Genesis 1:3. I plan to read the second Chapter soon.

I wanted to take some time to thank my best friend Leanne, and to everyone who decided to educate me about the modern Bible Translation. I still plan on keeping this Bible since it's my first, but I'm in the process of getting a different one. Any feedback or advice helps.

I read 4 chapters of the Bible so far in the book of Genesis. The story of Cain is quite interesting.

Awesome. I recommend a different translation like NLT or NIV. It is much easier to understand than KJV.

I don’t ever read from kjv. Also. It’s best to start in the New Testament because it explains the basics of the faith. The Old Testament is like the story before Jesus and the New Testament is the story of Jesus which he is the point of the faith so. That might help a lot for comprehension!
Thank you Leanne! I'm new to this whole Bible thing. I just watched this YouTube Short that told me the same thing you commented. I also know someone who said that she would give me an updated translation to help me better understand the text better. I will definitely get the NLT or NIV. 💖
