RIP Amber Mavis, but she got what she deserved. Sucks for her dragon tho. Also, Liam seems chill. I hope he’s in for the long run.

I left myself on a cliffhanger and I now I have to go to work?? This is so unfair. How did they get into Violet’s room?! Is freezing time Andarna’s signet power? Xaden was the one busting the door down right? So much is happening.

Sawyer’s metallurgy signet sounds so cool, almost like a metal bender in Avatar the Last Airbender/ Lenten dog Korra. I’m curious to see what everyone else will end up getting as their signet.

The twists and turns that this book is taking are keeping on the edge of my seat. I have yet to be bored this entire book. Although I’m still trying to figure out this Violet - Xaden relationship, I’m so glad she’s not leaning towards Dain, he’s SO annoying.

Thank God she doesn’t want Dain anymore. He was getting on my last nerve. Literally so annoying and wouldn’t break a rule to save her. Like Riorson said, not even BENDING the rules a little, after they’ve known each other for that long.

So much has happened that I couldn’t stop to update. Homegirl really pulled one of the best dragons, not to mention TWO, and she got revenge (kinda) on Jack! I’m only about half way and this book is phenomenal.

YEEES, homegirl beat the Gauntlet, AND she stuck it to that bitch Amber. Love how Xaden was like, sucks to suck to Amber. Violet put her mind to work and showed those losers up.

Rip to Aurelie. Caden is starting to grow on me. Even though he seems like he’s an asshole, it’s very conflicting with the fact that he’s also very giving of information and teaching others. Dain is getting really annoying. Like I get where he’s coming from, but Violet can make her own decisions.

I seriously can’t wait for Jack to have his ass handed to him, and I really hope it’s by Violet or Rhiannon. Being a mender also sounds like such a cool power to have too.

Violet really showed everyone up in that battle briefing. I can’t wait for Jack Barlowe to be put in his place, and I hope it’s by her. I’m also so curious to learn more about everyone’s powers.
