Ruby and Nick were cute but also this felt a bit one note for me. Even the conflict didn't quite have the tension for me. It was an easy read and I love a good hockey romance but this didn't even really have the hockey side beyond her asking questions and him somewhat begrudgingly early on answering.

I go through phases where I will binge sports romances, esp hockey ones.

I don't love the whole non-sports fan trying to write sports and being totally clueless about it thing. (As someone who has worked in sports for a good chunk of the last 15 years, it's a pet peeve.) I will, however, give it a chance.
