In "If Anyone Builds It, Everyone Dies," the writers portray it as near-certain that these AIs will NOT be "aligned" with humanity's interests. It seems the writers believe a superintelligence that can easily outstrip collective humanity's endeavors would easily evade/escape any guidelines or restrictions humans have placed on that AI. A worrisome read.
