There's nothing surprising in her historical critique (that's what it is) of the Girl Scouts. I was a GS until about 9th or 10th grade, but never as committed as the author was. Now my granddaughter is a Daisy scout. So the history is of interest to me. Our troop wasn't 100% WASP. Two Jewish sisters were members.
