Just what the doctor ordered. What a delightful book! What a delightful person! Makes me very proud to be a part of the Sierra club. And hopefully I won’t shit myself (if I do I’ll pack it out of course #leavenotrace) when we get bussed up to the sierras for snow camp. But very ready for Joshua tree this weekend!! Time to make John muir proud by taking bearings and scrambling up rocks!

Omg John Muir is such a precious cinnamon roll. The love he has for the sierras is palpable. Down to the ants that won’t stop biting him. He has so much love and awe and wonder and my plan totally worked. If I just see the sierras through his eyes I won’t notice that they are making us hike 5 miles with 50lb packs on snow shoes. I’ll be too busy quoting John Muir prose! 6 weeks till snow camp >_<

Aw dedicated to the Sierra club 🥹 doing snow camp in the sierras in March. Trying to build up awe and appreciation for it to counteract how much I am not looking forward to being wet and cold.
