Oh god, every bit as heart wrenching and amazing as the original

I’m literally loving every single second of this book. Fajardo provides such sharp, insightful commentary to wealth inequality and class disparity exacerbated by technological developments. Her subtle critique of the “Asian-fear” often seen in cyberpunk media is masterful.

My favorite moments so far have been the completely original ones

In the face of Disney diversity recasts which feel performative and shallow, Fajardo’s decision to make Daisy and Nick Filipino is the best example of diversity which adds depth, dimension and complexity to the story.
