Status Update

David is 51% done

Now this may come as a surprise to the one person who reads my updates, but it is rare that a story makes me cry. One piece is the first story since my rewatch of ATLA to get me to shed tears. At 11am on a Thursday afternoon I shed 2 very masculine tears while reading about the death of a boat. That’s my update. Impel Down was amazing. Rest in peace to The Merry-go.

This manga has managed to deliver more story, heart, interesting ideas, and funny moments in the chapters I’ve read then some do in their entire run. It just might be one of the greatest stories ever told.
