you know maybe the woman who’s disappearing husband usually cooks all of her meals should’ve picked up a kitchen trick or two somewhere along the way

i do think the 9/11 scènes age this book tremendously

these are pretty damn graphic

henry is kind of a pussy

this book is so crazy because it has some of the most insane plot movements and characters with awful characteristics. but just when it’s loosing me there will be a line that is so poignant and rings so true to my own experience. and then henry is an ass again.

had to go back to annotating in the margins lest i annoy all of my friends into blocking me on goodreads.

“we waiting till i was eighteen, we did it on my birthday” girl.

this reminds me a little bit of the most fun we ever had (which i dnf’d!) where the main couple is so boring, and in this case, the man so irritating, that i don’t particularly care what miseries befall them

i must say that some of the things that charmed me are now wearing on me. can’t we say and so forth in english?

“maternal longing” diversity win there is also husband husbandry. i guess.
