Big plot twist that I had expected but didn’t think he could pull off. The plot of this series is pretty good but god damn it pisses me off. There are zero wholesome moments and a million “god dammit” moments. It’s kind of like a dumbed down version of dune with more fighting, less philosophy, and less mysticism. Like Dune x Star Wars with creepier technology

Octavia is literally just bene gesserit. She has a mantra against fear and a “minds eye” that she uses to focus and control bodily functions like removing poison. Matriarch. Oh and she had a box that contained a poison that she uses to test people.

Seraphina was actually an interesting character and then pierce brown does that to her in the storm. I’m so annoyed. Every female character in this series exists only to be character development for a male character
