Maybe it’s because of having a large family but I’m having no problem with the different people and names .

Ellen’s young awareness of racism is very sad.

I’m loving the unfiltered energy. It’s not a perfect family or a perfect dying person. It feels so real, like I am in the same room. Currently reminding me of Elizabeth Strout. I’m annoyed it took so long to read it now!

I’m on page one, I was worried because the book was suggested not one I chose. I’m happy already and laughing. This is a good sign especially as the main character is already on her death bed.
